The Presence (VR) app for iPhone and iPad

The Presence is a proof-of-concept demonstration showing how interactive elements can make 360° films more immersive.

The story follows four characters through a séance gone wrong. This demo contains two new approaches to VR storytelling: "active" and "reactive." In both versions, the viewer influences how the story unfolds. In the "active" version the viewer is able to jump between multiple perspectives at will; while in the "reactive" version the viewers gaze motivates the next shot, editing the film organically.

The Presence contains strong language and violence and is recommended for a mature audience only.

This version of The Presence allows you to view the story either in VR mode or simply in your hands and can also work with most Bluetooth controllers.

Please note this program was designed for the most recent Apple devices, for viewers using legacy iphones it is recommended that you close all other programs as The Presence can be processor intensive.
